About my life:
1995-1999
Graduate of the Performing Arts BFA and Journalism BA at Wayne State University.
1997-Present
Second City performer and writer. Highlights include conceiving and writing commercials and internal videos for companies like The Hartford, Chef Boyardee and Secret deodorant and sketch writing for large live shows for Conference of Women Legislators and V-Wise (Veteran Women Igniting the Spirit of Entrepreneurship).
2002-2005
Graduate of the Journalism Program at Wayne State University, while working at the Detroit News as a Features and Trends reporter. I won a scholarship. Helen Thomas gave it to me and signed her book for me. That was cool.
2000-Present
Improv teacher, director and performer at many theaters in Chicago including the Second City, the Annoyance, ComedySportz, Baby Wants Candy and iO (formerly Improv Olympic). Created and executed many original shows and new formats, directing both sketch and improv.
